Edward Pullen, MD
I joined SFM in 1987 and I have enjoyed the experience of providing care for patients and families as we have grown and changed together. Seeing babies, children, adults and grandparents makes my practice challenging, interesting, and fulfilling.
I graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine and completed my family practice residency from Madigan Army Medical Center. I am board-certified and, although I discontinued the maternity care aspect of my practice in 2002, I still provide women's health care to my patients. In particular, I enjoy providing care for children. I have recently moved from the Hartland clinic to the Sunrise location and I am enjoying the views of Mt. Rainier. I have also returned to seeing patients full-time after splitting my time as Medical Director for the last fifteen years.
In my spare time I enjoy bird watching, reading for pleasure and for my book club, watching movies and spending time with my wife and two adult children. I am active in the South Hill Rotary and at Celebration Lutheran Church, where I am in the choir and participate in the retirement home ministry.
I am passionate about helping SFM grow and my goal is to ensure that Sound Family Medicine can continue to meet the needs of our current patients, as well as to be available to help meet the currently underserved primary health care needs of our community.
