Katie Lapsa, MSN, PA-C
I will be providing primary outpatient care at both the Bonney Lake and Hartland/Puyallup Sound Same-Day Clinics, as well as seeing my own patients at the Hartland office.
I will also being working with a Hartland physician as a new team approach to caring for our patients. My goal is improving access to high-quality, evidence-based, and cost-effective medical care for both adult and pediatric patients.
I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University and my Master of Physician Assistant Sciences from Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania. After my schooling I moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan to work as a physician assistant focused on outpatient primary care as well as neonatal care. I was able to become the first physician assistant at the University of Michigan's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Since I became a member of the staff at Sound Family Medicine, I have enjoyed the opportunity to work with patients in all stages of life in the family practice setting. I especially like the partnership in helping my patients achieve their greatest possible wellness.
I am enjoying my relocation from Ann Arbor to Puyallup. I love to go hiking, biking, and exploring my new home state of Washington. I also like to compete in triathlons.
